Refund Policy
At Baak Empowerment Foundation, we are grateful for your support and contributions. We strive to use every donation effectively and transparently in support of our mission. However, we understand that there may be situations where a refund is requested. Please read our refund policy carefully:
1. Donation Refund Requests
- All donation refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the donation date.
- Requests must include:
- Donor’s full name
- Date and amount of donation
- Transaction reference number
- Reason for the refund request
2. Mode of Refund
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method (e.g., bank transfer, credit/debit card).
- Refunds may take up to 10 business days to reflect, depending on your financial institution.
3. Non-Refundable Donations
- Donations made in cash or anonymously (without sufficient transaction details) are generally non-refundable.
- Tax-exempt donations for which receipts have been issued and claimed for tax benefits cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
4. Errors in Donation
- If you made an error in your donation amount or provided wrong information, please notify us immediately at [your email/contact].
- We will correct the error or issue a refund, depending on the situation.
5. Event or Campaign-Based Donations
- Donations made towards specific events, campaigns, or projects may have different terms, which will be clearly communicated in those cases.
- If the event is cancelled, refund eligibility will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
