Driven by this vision, we founded Baak abhyas katta-a space designed specifically for young minds, where books, learning, and imagination are within arm’s reach. On October 22, 2023, the first Baak abhyas katta was inaugurated by the Honorable Additional Commissioner CGST, Prashant Rokade Sir in Amravati marking the beginning of a transformative journey for children.
Baak is a visionary initiative inspired by Nipun Manohar’s journey (Ast. Commissioner SGST, Mumbai). As a child, Nipun faced the challenge of inadequate study spaces due to economic constraints. This experience left a lasting impact on him, and, after clearing the prestigious State Services Examination, he made it his mission to resolve the very problem he had faced in his childhood.
In a world where libraries are often built with the youth in mind, they are often located far from home, making them inaccessible to children between the ages of 6 to 18. This stark reality inspired us to dream of a solution a study space that was not only child-friendly but also easily accessible, right where children live.
